Shot Breakdowns
While studying at Savannah Colledge of Art and Design I understood that it's important to find my own animation workflow. Working in the layered method allows me to create animation fast and accent the character arcs.
The Last Dungeon
SCAD Animation Studios was a huge boost to my animation skills. I collaborated with the best students and worked under the direct supervision of the chairs of animation at SCAD.
This project taught me to create strong, readable poses for characters in such a fast-paced film.

Wild Hunt Shot
Quick action and cartoony animation style is my passion. This shot challenged my ability to visualize the idea in my head and recreate it in 3D space.
I achieve the cartoony look I studied the animated short "Scrat Continental Crack-Up." I was focusing on extreme poses, arcs, and most importantly the timing of the actions.
BUSHITOAD - 3D Animation Lead
Bushitoad - a hybrid watercolor stylized short film about a samurai Toad and a small tadpole Lily. I spent my senior year working on the 3D aspect of the film from the start to the end of the pipeline.

-
Assigning shots to my peers and keeping track of the progress
-
Giving feedback and draw overs using ShotGrid or SyncSketch
-
Overseeing the style of the animation
-
Initial research and development of the hybrid pipeline
-
Setting up the shots using camera projections or 2D image planes to animate 3D characters on the 2D background
-
Visual Development of the character and the watercolor-style shader
-
Quality control of the animation backed to twos
-
Communication with the 2D animators and verifying that the 2D and 3D characters' interactions are believable
-
Weight painting for the 3D character rig
A wide range of tasks fell in the scope of my responsibilities:

Beeloved
This short film was my first experience animating on twos.
I achieved the goal of creating clear expressions and making the character relatable for the viewers.
Aligator Run Cycle
When creating this animation I was looking to have fast, readable actions and stylize the cycle towards the game animation.
The character's animation is working from multiple angles and is based on a panther run cycle.
Bird and Quadruped Cycle
When creating this animation I was looking to have fast, readable actions and stylize the cycle towards the game animation.
The character's animation is working from multiple angles and is based on a panther run cycle.
